  • 07/28 – 7/28-8/1. Optional Enrollment for children enrolled in summer. Shortened Hours: 7:40-5:20. Pre-registration required.
  • 08/04 – Hilltop closed Monday, August 4th - Friday, August 8th.
Fall Semester 2008
  • 08/08 – Open House 4:00-6:00pm.
  • 08/11 – 8/11-8/15. Optional enrollment for children enrolled in Fall Semester; Shortened hours: 7:40-5:20. Pre-registration required.
  • 08/18 – First day of Fall Semester regular enrollment. Hours 7:15-5:45.
Optional care periods
The days KU classes are not in session. Separate applications for enrollment are required for each optional care period. Families who need care apply and pay for these days.
Shortened hours
Optional care periods, days preceding holidays, and the two fall break days have shortened hours. The work schedule for our full time staff members is eight hours a day. Many KU students are employed to assist our lead and assistant teachers in the classrooms during early morning and late afternoon times and at rest time. When KU is not in session, these aides are usually unavailable so shorter hours are necessary.

Note: Enrollment periods designated "Optional Enrollment" are not included in the semester contract period(s). There are designated time periods for application for enrollment for each optional enrollment period. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. There is a separate fee agreement for each optional enrollment period.
